Orange High School has begun one of its many winter sports - indoor track. The Orange High School indoor track team has had two meets so far. The meet was at Eastern Alamance Thursday, December 13. The competing schools were Orange High School, Eastern Alamance, and others.

Trevor Samsa, a junior at Orange High School, is now running indoor track for his first season. He plans to participate on the team again next year.
Samsa participated in multiple events. These events were 400x400, 400x800, 1000, and shotput, a field event. where participants throw a metal ball as far as possible.

“The concession stand food. Maybe the running. I don’t know,”said Samsa when asked what his favorite part of the meet was. He had a hard time deciding which was his favorite point of the meet.
When Samsa was asked about how indoor track affects him he said, “It truly makes me a better person. It teaches me how to strive to meet my goals. It is also a great way to stay healthy.”

“I’d like to thank my coaches. They are the bomb. They are truly inspirational.” Samsa said when asked about what he might tell his coaches, Coach Sarah Roberts and Coach Brigham.
