On Monday December 3rd, Orange Highs woman's basketball team played Person High, on Persons home court. Before leaving Orange Campus, I got to speak with Chasity Middleton and see what she thinks the ladies need to do in order to start the season off on a high note.

She said, “All we can do tonight is try out best and try to succeed and do what we know best!”

After two half’s of intense game playing, the two teams are put into overtime. In the end Person pulls ahead by one point, 48-47.

Once the ladies returned to Orange campus, Middleton, who took part in the game against Person, spoke to me and said the team could work on their communication skills a little more than they have already this season. This was a key factor that kept them behind last season and is now less of a problem for the team.

As students here at Orange High we all need to support our ladies in everyone of their games, and wish them the best of luck. The girls have two more games this week, and they've been work hard on the court in practice this week to increase their game skill. All of us here at Orange wish them the best at the rest of their games this week.
