November 14, Art students went on a field trip to the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh, NC. The museum is owned and operated by the citizens of North Carolina. The students went to the museum to see a still life exhibit that has been traveling from museum to museum for quite a while.

On the museum website, the description of this display says, "A visual feast from the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, features European and American paintings and decorative arts from the Renaissance to the present."

At the museum, there were works of art by Paul Ce'zanne, Monet, and many more. It was truly a very unique experience. There was also Tiffany glass wear and metal wear on display. Some pieces in the exhibit cost over $50,000 dollars.

After the museum, the students all piled back into the bus and headed downtown to Moore's Square for lunch and a tour of Art Space, a building that houses many art studios. Art Space is a three-story place with many art exhibits that are available for the public to come in and view. The artists' studios are where they work and sell their pieces that they put on display in the windows and on the walls.
