After the break, the Media Center saw a rise in laptops coming in for reparation. Here are some tips to maintain the laptops in good condition. They were sent over mail to all students right before the break from Tina Walker.
- Please do not to hold their screen by the top, this might break the screen.
- If you spill something, don't try to dump the liquid out.... there are trays in the laptop that will handle up to an oz. of fluid and drain it through the bottom of the laptop. When you try to dump the liquid out, it runs all over the mother board and can destroy it.
- And lastly, the keys rarely just pop off. If there is a keyboard issue, you need to turn it quickly. After a certain number of keys, you will have to pay for the repairs.
