The outside of the high school student-built house is quickly nearing completion.
With the windows already installed (two of them paid for by the $350 raised by the 'Hats for Habitat' fundraiser here at Orange High), and the new gray singles coating the roof, the students worked together to align the front door set the back door and storage shed door into place.
The construction students have been dodging rain showers to go work on the house, but the new roof keeps the water out of the house now where it used to be covered in an inch or more of water.
The once lonely concrete foundation is becoming a home.
