Valentine’s is just around the corner! The perfect day to express how you feel about that special someone. Whether it’s a friend or a sweetheart there’s something just for you. Orange High School’s Clubs will be selling numerous Valentine’s Day related things from February 11-13.
Future Business Leaders of America or, FBLA, will be selling $1 chocolate bars during all 3 lunches, Monday-Wednesday. The idea is that you buy a chocolate for somebody and it is delivered to them during first period on Valentine’s Day. The funds are going to the FBLA State Leadership Conference trip in April. Also on February 15, that Friday, they will be holding a putting green during lunch. Funding for that will be put towards Alan Thompson's, North Carolina FBLA Presidential campaign. The Robotics club will be selling $1 donuts all three lunches, the same days as well. These proceeds will be going to their team trips, and the construction of robots.
The Journalism and Newspaper classes are selling love notes and handmade cards. Love notes are small notes with a message inside written by you, or one of your choosing. They will be sold for $1 with just the text or $2 with a picture, again of your choosing. They will be available during all 3 lunches and will be delivered to whomever during class. The handmade cards are the same idea, with $1 for any available card, $2 for a personalized message.
FCCLA or Family, Career and Community Leaders of America plans to make Valentine’s cards and give them to the residents of Carillon Assisted Living and Senior Services in Hillsborough.valentines, clubs, fccla, fbla, fundraising, robotics, ohs
