Orange High School’s FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) club is raising money for Emily’s Kids Foundation. Emily’s Kids Foundation provides gift cards to seven local hospitals to be given to families who have children in the cancer treatment unit. The gift cards are for gas, Walmart cards, parking vouchers, McDonald’s gift cards, and food vouchers for the hospital cafeteria.Emily was a high school FCCLA member and club officer at Southeast Guilford High school. She died from a genetically inherited cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma. It is a very aggressive form of cancer and Emily’s journey lasted only eleven months.
Orange High FCCLA club will have a cupcake sale to raise money for Emily’s Kids Foundation.
The FCCLA cupcake sale will include pre-sale of the cupcakes at lunch Monday - Wednesday (March 11 - March 13). Cupcakes will be delivered to students at 3:30 on Thursday, March 14th.
Cupcakes are $1.00 and can be purchased at the pink table in the Panther's Den during all 3 lunches. Cupcakes are chocolate or yellow cake with butter cream icing.
If you miss the FCCLA members sales during lunch, you can purchase with Mrs. Braxton.
