March 22 , the Orange High varsity lacrosse team played a home game against Roxboro Community School. The Panthers lost the game in a 7-4 non-league match. Roxboro Community School (RCS) is now 3-2 for the season. The Panthers are now 1-5 for the season after the loss to RCS.

Both teams were focused and traded turnovers. Near the end of the game, RCS played hard and got ahead in goals. Earlier on Wednesday, March 20, the Panthers faced Oxford Webb on Webb’s home field. The Panthers played tough throughout the game, but in the end the Oxford Webb Warriors came out on top, winning 7-5.

The lacrosse coach was proud of his goalie #4 Dylan McKinnon. McKinnon had 14 saves during the game. #13 Brock Fuller scored all five points for the Panthers. Warriors goalie Reggie Campos blocked 9 of the Panthers attempts to get ahead in the game.

#9 Chance Durham stated, “We are capable of so much more, we just have to focus.”
