The Orange softball varsity team is 14-4 overall in conference. They have a 7-3 record, their state rank is 1710, and they have a 95 average.  

The team also has stats of .315 in batting, .392 on base, .479 in slugging, .889 in fielding, .587 in plate appearance, and .146 in running. Since last year they have greatly improved their performance.

The most recent game the team won was against Chapel Hill High School. The score was 14 to 2. The OHS softball team is very committed to every game they have played throughout the season. There are 13 players on the varsity team, and most of the varsity team are juniors and seniors. OHS has a game March 28 against Cedar Ridge at 4 pm. Their national ranks is 393.

For the 12-13 year, they had a record of 7-0-0 of year; in 11-12, they had a 14-4-0 year; in 10-11, they had 12-8-0 year;  9-10,  they had 3-2-0. As the Orange softball team, they have achieved each year.

Their overall record is 36-14. The non-conference record was 25.0 while their conference  was 11-13. The Orange playoffs is 0-1; home games were 22-4, away games are 14-10 so far. Orange softball only records batting, base running, fielding, and pitching .

This softball team win lose 2-0 winning percent 1.000 runs for 26 run against 4 winning streak are 7.  Their top batters are Rachel Peel with a .636, Kaneisha Pettiford batting .600, and Mackenzie Cates batting at .500.
