Update 5/17: The fees for damaged or lost individual electronics are as follows: chargers will be $55; missing keys will cost $24 to $124; to get the keyboard bezel replaced, the fee will be $150; if the top outside case is damaged, the fee will be $150; if the bottom outside case is damaged, it will be $142.20; if a hinge is broke, it will be $150; if the battery latch is broken, it will be $48. 

Laptop collection here at OHS begins Wednesday, May 29 for the students who don’t have an EOC or VOCATS exam. If one has a computer at home that they can use to prepare for their exams, then they can turn their laptop in early. All other students must return their laptops into the tech center or Mrs. Walker after their last exam.

When one turns in their laptop, they should make sure they bring the laptop, charger, and sleeve with their name on it. Before turning in their laptops, if one has any damages to their laptop they should go to the tech center, so damage fees can be taken care of ahead of time.

ge fees will be charged if the laptop case is cracked or damaged; keys are missing from the keyboard; the screen is scratched, cracked, or damaged; screws are missing; the logo/tag is missing or damaged; the charger is missing/lost or stolen; the battery is loose; the hinge is worn or broken; or personal stickers are not removed.

If one has any of these damages on or to their laptop then see the tech desk to get payments arranged so they can turn their laptop in more easily on May 29.
