Amber Dezern categorizes herself as a “typical country girl.” She likes many things that most would say are country or redneck. Dezern is a fun and likable person.
One of the typical things she said she had was her best friend who sticks with her through thick and thin. Jada Cates is the name of Dezern’s best friend and they share a strong bond. Dezern stated, “Cates has been there for me through good, bad and ugly times.”
Dezern specified her love for her grandma as one of the things that keeps her level headed. She said her grandma, who she loved deeply, was struck with Alzheimer's when Dezern was young. A memory that both of the two loved was when her grandma gave her a jewelry box.
Another memory that Dezern has is the first time she came into high school. She said that she walked through the door and tripped and slid on her butt. Everyone laughed at her then somebody helped her up. She stated, “That’s how I met Ashlyn Crouch. She helped me up off the ground.”
Another part of her life that some might view as typical are her hobbies. Dezern specified that she likes to read, swim, and do her hair.
