Tuesday, March 19, Orange High was supposed to hold its first annual College and Career Expo for OHS students during lunch in the gym. It would have featured over 30 colleges and local businesses and helped students plan for their futures.
Due to a winter mix that included freezing rain and snow, all Orange County Schools were at first delayed, and then canceled. Evelyn DeLoatch, who is in charge of the Career Center at Orange, said that “there might not be a College and Career Expo this year because teachers are so behind because of all the weather delays and school being canceled.”
It has not yet been decided if there will be a College and Career Expo this year, but stay informed as this story develops.
