An very unfortunate event has happened to Orange High School students.  William Daniel Chase Underhill, mostly referred to as Chase Underhill, and Kacie Leann Chamberlain were killed in a car crash Saturday.

This entire situation has had a huge impact on every student attending Orange High School. OHS has recruited many grief counselors for the students and their parents to talk to when needed.

Many students knew and loved both of these students, and even those who didn’t know the two feel deeply for the family and friends and wish to show their respects. Principal Jason Johnson said about Underhill, “The school is deeply cut and in so much pain right now, we’re trying to get through everything together. The swim team will remember Underhill forever and we have plenty of people here ready to support and help the students here.” He said about Chamberlain: “Anybody who will be playing softball is definitely feeling down right now, after losing such a sweet girl who was loved by many.”

The Orange High School community showed their support during this difficult time by wearing camouflage honoring Underhill on Wednesday, January 2. The students will wear pink on Friday, January 4 to honor Chamberlain.
